Even Realities Adds a Tortoiseshell Even G2, Plus Polarized Sun Clips and a Chain

Even Realities says it has introduced Brown 2, a tortoiseshell-inspired colorway for its Even G2 smart glasses, alongside two accessories: Polarized Sun Clips and the Even G2 Chain. In a press release on the company's own news blog, the company says Brown 2 is designed to bring the warmth and character of traditional tortoiseshell eyewear to smart glasses, and that the new colorway features a newly developed material that carries its layered pattern throughout the frame rather than applying it as a surface finish. Even Realities says each frame is individually shaped, pressed, tumbled and polished for 20 hours, creating subtle variations that make every pair unique.

According to Even Realities, Brown 2 is the lightest Even G2 design to date while retaining the camera-free, display-first technology that brings live translation, notifications and a teleprompter directly into the wearer's field of view. The company says Brown 2 is available in both Frame A and Frame B styles. Even Realities says traditional tortoiseshell eyewear is typically made from acetate, a material valued for its warmth and visual depth but sensitive to heat and humidity. The company says that for smart glasses, which require precise internal architecture to support their displays, it developed a new material that captures the richness of tortoiseshell while maintaining the structural precision, balance and display clarity of Even G2. Even Realities describes the result as a classic eyewear design reimagined for its display-first glasses.

The company says the new Polarized Sun Clips extend Even G2's versatility outdoors, combining practical sun protection with a refined eyewear aesthetic. According to Even Realities, the clips feature Silver Gray polarized lenses that reduce glare from roads, water and other reflective surfaces while providing 100% UVA/UVB protection, and they are designed for bright commutes and everyday outdoor use. The company says the clips are available in both Frame A and Frame B styles.

Even Realities says the Even G2 Chain is a convenient way to keep the glasses close when they are not being worn, particularly for users who regularly take them on and off throughout the day. The company says the Chain is crafted from stainless steel with a sandblasted gunmetal finish, complementing Even G2's understated design while allowing the glasses to rest comfortably around the neck between uses.
