At CES 2027 we expect more input devices built around voice capture and shortcut-to-AI workflows, from command pads to keyboards with assistant keys. We will evaluate them the way we evaluate any desk gadget: does the AI feature save real time, or is it a sticker on the box?
What we will check: latency from keypress to action, whether capture is local or cloud, privacy controls, and build quality. A smart key is only useful if the thing it triggers is fast and reliable.
