Brilliant Labs' Halo Glasses Run Their AI on Your Phone
Halo pairs a micro color OLED display and bone-conduction audio with an assistant called Noa, and promises no cloud stor. Brilliant Labs has always marketed to tinkerers, and Halo keeps that spirit while aiming at a broader audience.

Brilliant Labs has always marketed to tinkerers, and Halo keeps that spirit while aiming at a broader audience. The glasses carry an AI assistant named Noa that holds real-time conversations about anything you see, hear or imagine, and that can remember people, conversations and sights to grow more personal over time.
Hardware includes a micro color OLED display, two ultra-compact bone-conduction speakers, a low-power camera sensor built for AI and optical-grade lenses, with prescription and sunglass options. Brilliant claims 14 hours of battery life.
Privacy is the differentiator. The company says its AI models run on the paired phone, that it keeps no recordings in the cloud, and that everything is encrypted. It also keeps the platform open so owners can see how it works and change it.
A built-in real-world game called Narrative adds a playful layer that sets Halo apart from more businesslike rivals.
