Amazfit, the smart wearables brand owned by Zepp Health, has announced the Amazfit Bip 6, a smartwatch the company says is built for everyday fitness at $79.99. The company describes it as combining a 1.97-inch AMOLED display, advanced heart-rate and sleep monitoring, AI-powered fitness programs, offline navigation and comprehensive sleep tracking in an aluminum alloy frame with 5 ATM water resistance.
Amazfit says the Bip 6's 1.97-inch AMOLED screen reaches 2,000 nits of brightness, which the company says keeps the display readable in strong sunlight. The watch comes in four colorways, Black, Charcoal, Stone and Red, and Amazfit says the aluminum alloy frame is paired with 5 ATM water resistance and a battery that lasts up to two weeks under typical use.
On the sensing side, Amazfit says the Bip 6 uses its BioTracker 6.0 PPG biometric sensor with a dual-light, 5PD build, which the company says captures heart rate, blood-oxygen levels, stress and HRV data. The watch supports more than 140 fitness and lifestyle activities, and Amazfit says its smart Strength Training mode groups muscle exercises automatically and counts reps, sets and rest time. The company also says offline navigation with round-trip routing is included for outdoor use.
Amazfit says the Bip 6 adds AI-powered coaching through the Zepp App, which the company describes as a centralized platform for tracking health and fitness data, analyzing trends and accessing personalized insights with no mandatory subscriptions. A food log feature lets users photograph meals in the app and have nutrition data uploaded automatically; Amazfit says that feature is available in North America and is scheduled to roll out in selected European countries later this year.
The company says Zepp Flow provides full voice control of the watch, allowing users to adjust settings and view readiness scores without tapping or swiping. Amazfit also says the Bip 6 can receive on-wrist notifications for calls, texts, social media and calendar reminders, and that Android users can reply to messages with voice-to-text or a touch keyboard. The company says the watch is available now on Amazfit.com and Amazon at $79.99.
Wayne Huang, founder and CEO of Zepp Health, said in the announcement that Amazfit believes smart wearables should enhance everyday life without compromising on style, performance or affordability. Huang said the Bip 6 was designed for people who need a smartwatch that keeps up with an active lifestyle, and that its fitness tracking, intelligent coaching and support for HYROX and endurance training are intended to adapt to dynamic routines while remaining affordable.
Amazfit says the Bip 6 is available now on Amazfit.com and Amazon at $79.99 USD. The company also says the food log feature in the Zepp App is available in North America and is scheduled to roll out in selected European countries later this year, and that the watch is positioned as an affordable entry point into its broader wearable lineup, which includes the Active, Cheetah and T-Rex series smartwatches, the Helio smart ring and the Zepp App.
