Figure built its name on humanoids for industrial work. Its messaging has now turned toward the house: the company describes Figure 03 as a general-purpose humanoid for every day and calls it the future of home help.
The software is the real story. Figure 03 runs on Helix, the company's own AI, which is designed to let the robot navigate home environments that change from minute to minute: chairs moved, laundry dropped, pets underfoot. Figure says the robot is human-shaped by design so it can handle household tasks the way a person would.
Figure also points to a robotics team with more than 100 years of combined AI and humanoid experience, a reminder that the home-robot category is attracting serious engineering talent and capital.
With 1X taking NEO deposits and Figure focused on homes, a consumer humanoid race is under way, and CES 2027 will likely show how close either is to delivery at scale. Figure's official video is below.
