GMKtec Says the EVO-X5 Pro Becomes a Commercial AI Node, Scaling Five Units to 960GB and Twenty to 3.84TB
Announced October 9 at a Shenzhen launch, the desktop AI supercomputer now ships with enterprise management and multi-node AI cluster configurations.. Announced October 9, GMKtec says its 192GB EVO-X5 Pro desktop AI machine can now be deployed as a managed commercial AI node, with five-node clusters reaching 960GB of memory and twenty-node pools reaching 3.84TB.

GMKtec says it has taken the EVO-X5 Pro, the desktop AI machine it launched globally on September 28, and repositioned it as a commercial AI computing node that can be managed, secured and clustered rather than used only as a single high-performance mini PC. The company announced the shift at a launch event in Shenzhen on October 9, following the system's global debut at IFA 2026.
According to GMKtec, the EVO-X5 Pro pairs the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 with up to 192GB of LPDDR5X-8533 unified memory and supports fully offline LLM inference with up to 320 billion parameters. The company says the platform is designed for local AI inference, AI agent workflows, model development, professional content creation and software development, with up to 24TB of storage, dual 10GbE networking, USB4 connectivity, 8K display output and eGPU expansion.
GMKtec says the PRO designation carries enterprise features: AMD DASH out-of-band management for remote power control, KVM access, BIOS configuration and system recovery independent of the operating system, a dedicated dTPM 2.0 hardware security module, hardware-based fingerprint authentication, and a separate 10GbE management interface. The company says those capabilities are intended to make the EVO-X5 Pro easier to deploy and manage as part of a commercial AI environment.
The company also demonstrated two multi-node configurations. GMKtec says five EVO-X5 Pro systems can combine for up to 960GB of total physical memory, while a 20-node configuration reaches up to 3.84TB, organized as a centrally managed AI computing pool for multi-user environments such as AI education laboratories, university training environments and development centers.
GMKtec says the EVO-X5 Pro supports its Claw ecosystem, which lets users build and deploy local AI agents through a visual workflow without extensive coding, with applications including AI-assisted productivity, content generation and private knowledge bases. The company frames the machine as an Agentic PC, a computer that runs models and supports intelligent workflows locally rather than only running applications, and says the October 9 event in Shenzhen showed how one desktop node can extend into a manageable local AI infrastructure.
At the same event, GMKtec says Zhao Hui Ji, Vice President of Marketing at AMD Greater China, delivered a keynote on AMD's technology roadmap, the shift toward AI computing at the edge and the future of the AI PC industry. The company says the appearance underscored its continuing collaboration with AMD in local AI inference, Agentic PC applications and commercial AI computing.
GMKtec says the EVO-X5 Pro is available through its official global website. The company describes itself as a compact computing maker whose portfolio includes desktop AI supercomputers, mini PCs, portable graphics solutions and consumer and commercial NAS products, with products sold in more than 70 countries.
