HP's entry in the palm-sized AI workstation race is the ZGX Nano, aimed at teams that want to keep data and costs in-house.
HP rates it at up to 1000 TOPS of AI compute from an NVIDIA Blackwell GPU, with a Grace 20-core Arm CPU for data preparation and orchestration. It can prototype, fine-tune and serve models of up to 200 billion parameters locally.
HP's differentiator is software: the free Z Toolkit gives developers a ready environment of models, runtimes and tools, used from an x86 Windows 11 or Ubuntu 24.04 machine running Visual Studio Code.
HP's message is simple: your data stays local and your costs stay predictable.
