Josh.ai has never tried to be the voice assistant in every kitchen. It has aimed instead at the homes where a single remote might command lighting, shades, climate, security and a dozen zones of audio, and where the owner expects the whole thing to simply understand them.
The company now frames that ambition as AI X OS, a platform it describes as built for "the world's most sophisticated homes," combining intelligence, automation and control in one layer. Natural voice and touch are the front door; the system then orchestrates whatever gear the integrator has installed behind the walls.
The hardware lineup spans the Josh App plus Edge, Core, One and Micro and Josh Nano, alongside a handheld controller the company promotes as next-generation physical control for when talking is not the right answer. Josh.ai sells through a dealer network rather than retail, with a dedicated program for designers and architects, and it hosted a 2026 keynote under the banner "Home in Harmony."
For buyers, the takeaway is that the luxury tier of the smart home is moving from voice commands to genuine AI orchestration, and Josh.ai is positioning itself as the brain of that house. Its official keynote and product videos are embedded below.
